Join us at Aperture for a special conversation between Anshika Varma from Offset Projects and Russet Lederman and Olga Yatskevich from 10×10 Photobooks, as they discuss the independent publishing scene spanning from New Delhi to New York. Offset Projects is a curatorial initiative rooted in South Asia, engaging with acts of reading and creation through photography’s relationship with printed matter.
It addresses images as sites of memory, imagination, and collective knowledge-making via artist books, exhibitions, reading rooms, workshops, residencies, and public programs. The initiative fosters transnational exchange while examining the social, political, and material lives of images. 10×10 Photobooks is a nonprofit, community-oriented organization that champions contemporary photobook practices and overlooked publications, stories, and creators in photobook histories. The program is supported by PhotoSouthAsia and the MurthyNAYAK Foundation.
